When you purchase a home without a qualified home inspector, you also purchase the areas of concern. If left unattended, these areas can be costly. Below are some of the many areas that are inspected by David Martin and just a few of the many areas of concern that have been found throughout the years of his experience.

Termite Trails
While inspecting the crawlspace, we are able to see if there is clear evidence of termite trails, and wood deterioration

Crawlspace
The crawlspace can be a place of moisture, water intrusion, wood rot, improper support piers and fungal growth. All exterior grading and drainage is inspected to ensure water intrusion has not entered the crawlspace interior.

Foundations
Vertical, horizontal cracking, or bowing in the foundation wall can be a sign of a foundation in distress. The foundation is the very basis for your home. Not knowing the condition of your foundation can be costly and stressful.

Plumbing
Plumbing leaks can occur in any home to include new construction. Left un-repaired or incomplete, these leaks can lead to major and costly repairs.

Roofing Structure
The roof structure protects your home from weather and the elements. Roof ventilation, proper vent pipe boots, and proper guttering together enable the total protection of your homes components.

Exterior
Exterior components are thoroughly inspected for damage and rot.

Interior and Electrical
The electric of the home is inspected not only for functionality, but also safety as well.
